Our Tales Heroes are Meeting in Scotland-16th May - 21st May 2010
Scotland visits Romania. Here are some photos of Bran Castle, Transylvania and our visit to the nursery.

Primary 6 and 7 are singing a song by Robert Burns. He is our national bard and we celebrate his birthday every year on the 25th January. This year it is his 251st year. Auld Lang Syne is perhaps his best known song. Sung throughout the world at New Year!

Mid Calder Primary is on the outskirts of Livingston, about 18km from Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. We have around 350 pupils with 13 teachers, beginning with primary one right through to primary seven. We also have a nursery for our under fives. Mid Calder is a small village, with a few shops and three pubs. It also has a church dating back to the 15th century.
